Risk Disclaimer
Important risk information for users of the Stake for Revenue (SFR) platform.
1. Introduction
This Risk Disclaimer outlines the potential risks involved in using the Stake for Revenue (SFR) platform. By participating in SFR staking services, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for the risks associated with decentralized finance (DeFi), smart contract usage, and blockchain-based transactions.
SFR is a decentralized, non-custodial platform. It does not provide investment, financial, or legal advice. Users should conduct independent research and, if necessary, consult professional advisors before engaging.
2. General Risks
- Market Volatility: Cryptocurrencies are subject to extreme price fluctuations. The value of Dlicom tokens and stablecoins used for rewards may significantly rise or fall.
- No Guarantee of Returns: Rewards distributed by SFR are voluntary and based on up to 30% of the net profit of the company behind Dlicom. There may be weeks or months with no reward distribution, and past performance is not indicative of future results.
- Discretionary Distribution: Reward payouts (in USDT or other stablecoins) are discretionary and depend on Dlicom's internal financial reporting and availability of funds.
- Liquidity Risk: Tokens staked in fixed-term contracts cannot be withdrawn until the lockup period ends. This may affect your access to liquidity.
- Regulatory Risk: The regulatory environment surrounding DeFi and cryptocurrency is evolving. Your activities on SFR may be subject to legal restrictions in your jurisdiction.
- No Investor Protection: SFR is not a registered financial institution. Users are not covered by any compensation schemes or financial safeguards.
3. Blockchain & Smart Contract Risks
- Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions are permanent. Errors, incorrect transactions, or loss of access to wallets cannot be undone or reversed.
- Smart Contract Vulnerabilities: Despite audits and testing, smart contracts may contain bugs, be exploited, or behave unpredictably under certain conditions.
- Network Congestion: High gas fees or congestion on blockchain networks may delay transactions or make claiming rewards impractical during peak periods.
- Funding Delays: Distribution contracts are funded manually by the Dlicom team. A delay in funding may cause reward cycles to pause temporarily.
4. User Responsibility
- Wallet Security: Users are solely responsible for securing their private keys and wallets. SFR cannot retrieve lost keys or access user wallets.
- Due Diligence: You are responsible for understanding the mechanics of staking, the implications of automatic restaking, and the formulas used to determine your X token share.
- Tax Compliance: Users must consult with tax professionals to understand local obligations relating to staking rewards, donations, or gifts.
5. Third-Party Risks
- External Wallets: Interaction with SFR requires third-party wallets (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet). SFR does not control these services and is not liable for their performance or security.
- Other dApps and Explorers: Information viewed or shared via blockchain explorers or third-party platforms is outside the control of SFR.
6. Force Majeure
SFR is not liable for any failure or delay in operation due to events beyond its control, including:
- Blockchain outages or technical failures
- Regulatory enforcement or sanctions
- Natural disasters or cyberattacks
- Economic or geopolitical crises
7. No Liability & Indemnification
- Limitation of Liability: SFR, its developers, and associated entities shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses resulting from the use of the platform.
- Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless SFR and its affiliates from any claims, damages, legal actions, or liabilities arising out of their use of the platform—except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by SFR.
- No Fiduciary Duty: Use of the platform does not establish a fiduciary or agency relationship between users and SFR.
8. Changes to This Disclaimer
SFR reserves the right to update or amend this Risk Disclaimer at any time. Changes will be posted publicly, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
